Restaurant POS System – Offer Setup Guide (Buy N → Get M)
1. Overview
This guide explains how to create promotional offers in the POS system, such as "Buy 2 Burgers, Get 1 Free". It covers setting up offer names in English and Arabic, defining rules for required and free items, and setting the offer period and conditions.
2. Navigating to the Offer Settings
To create or edit offers:
1. Go to the 'Offers' section in the admin panel.
2. Click on ‘Add Offer’ or edit an existing one.
3. Creating or Editing an Offer
Fill out the form fields as shown:
- Title (EN): Enter the offer name in English. Example: Buy 2 Burgers, Get 1 Free
- Title (AR): Enter the Arabic equivalent. Example: اشترِ 2 برجر واحصل على 1 مجانًا
- Description (EN/AR): Optional text for explaining the offer.
- Min Order Amount: Minimum order value needed to activate the offer (e.g., 0.000 for no restriction).
- Start Date / End Date: Set the validity period for the promotion.
- Active: Check this box to enable the offer.
- Image: Upload an optional promotional banner or icon.

4. Adding Offer Rules
Under the 'Rules' section, you can specify what the customer needs to buy and what they will receive free:
- Required Item: Select the item the customer must purchase (e.g., Classic chicken burger).
- Qty: Enter how many items must be bought (e.g., 2).
- Free Item: Select the free item to give (e.g., Freekeh casserole with meat).
- Free Qty: Quantity of the free item (e.g., 1).
You can add multiple rules by clicking the 'Add Rule' button to create more Buy → Get logic.

5. Tips & Best Practices
- Keep offer names clear and short for visibility.
- Use Arabic and English to ensure regional clarity.
- Always set a start and end date to automate expiration.
- Avoid overlapping offers with conflicting rules.
- Double-check the free items are in stock if the offer is active.
